I'd like to pick up a Precense of Might enchant for my new T5 helm to maximize my SBV using the new Eternal Earthstorm Diamond. Basically all we'd need to do is down Bloodlord Mandokir, who should be a pushover for 3 people in lvl 70 epix. I need to get the primal hakkari idol and a warrior voodoo doll (which may be purchasable via the AH as well).
Anyhow, wtb a healer and a dps for 3-man ZG fun!

Fri, 04/04/2008 - 11:41amWell, if I'm on at the time, i'll go. Mandokir can still be tricky. He hits hard, but a prot tank can take it for sure. At the time we tried, i was ret and in mostly blue tank gear.
His fears will be nasty if you all happen to be clumped together where he charges. Probably best to clear the mobs around him anyway.

Loot rules: Qyn gets primal hakkari idol and if it drops a warrior vodoo doll. If extras drop they will be random raid rolled, unless someone wants. If people want to object , let me remind you he is decked out in Tier 5/and a little 4 and it will make our life easy.
Though not required if you have no desire for the rep or don't need the coins or bijou please pass on them . I'm going only for rep since there is one old-school recipe I don't have in alchemy and I'm close to exalted for it
If by the rare off chance a special mount drops it will be individually rolled, unless someone doesn't want (meaning your not going to use it as your land mount) or they already have a special rare mount.
I will be making this run for this Sunday 4/6/08 at 4:00 Server time (this is negotiable based on mass desire).
We have two bosses on the table for this run

If you have a particular boss in mind please post it, but more then likely we cannot do the tiger boss due to tank requirements on that fight (3 are needed)

I agree that everyone should roll for the raptor mount should it drop, I probably should've done that with the Attumen horse rather than Xloot randoming it. Oh wells.

Mon, 04/07/2008 - 6:55amSo we ran this last night...Bloodlord is sort of a pushover but he definitely still hits non prot tanks for a good deal. He did not drop the raptor mount BUT he did drop the Bloodlord's Defender, only 2 years too late! XD
And ZG trash is still annoying as hell.
And no warrior voodoo dolls. :( So if anyone sees any of the Punctured Voodoo Dolls for the warrior class on the AH, grab it for me! I'll reimburse you. :)

Wed, 04/09/2008 - 2:23pmHeh. When I used to play, I had a Barbarian NPC to round out the party. When he took a "mighty swing" at a kobold (rolled 18) and only did minimal damage (rolled 1), we made the Barbarian gay and the "mighty swing" turned into a bitchslap.
Also had a mage who was probably suicidal. Fireball in a 10' square room full of paper, lightning bolt in a dungeon shoulderdeep underwater, etc. Scary thing is, it was player controlled, and he did it anyway despite a few warnings about the situation.
Ahh..those were the days.
