Hi all,
Some/most of you may know me from raiding with Fireside. I decided that I would like to get more closely involved with you wonderful people by joining Amaranthian.
I hope that I have not been TOO much of a pain in raids, and I hope that you will consider accepting me into your community.

In your application, you mentioned Fireside/raiding a lot. Here are the quotes, in case you don't remember exactly what you wrote.
Are you applying for the sake of raiding, or because you like us as a social guild? We are a social guild, and not all of our members are members of fireside, so I want to make sure you're not thinking of us as a branch of Fireside.

Wed, 02/13/2008 - 11:30amMy apologies for the ambiguity.....I do very much like Amaranthian as a social guild. My concern with Devil's was that it was social and had very little to do with running instances/raids together.
I do understand that Amaranthian is not a subset of Fireside, but I think I like the members of fireside who are also members of Amaranthian enough that I would like to be more socially connected with them.
I hope that clears things up a bit.

Wed, 02/13/2008 - 12:05pmI think you'll find that Ama is more of the social/casual feel type of guild - we run things together, sure, but there's nothing planned. It's sort of choose your own adventure, and it usually takes some effort to get a run going. Hopefully, it's less effort than just a PuG, though, and then you can listen to our retarded banter in guild chat as a plus!
