I keep meaning to do this, and forgetting and then I was thinking if we had the calendar set up I'd put it there, but in the mean time I'll do it here while it's still on my mind.

I am pleased to not be in school again. My birthday inevitably fell the week or two between Thanksgiving and Winter Break, which tends to be the last week or two of classes everyplace. Thus I have had a lot of shitty birthdays, freaking the fuck out over final papers and projects and exams. The last two birthdays were certainly like that.

Sat, 09/15/2007 - 9:33amThe Feast Day of St. Keroth and St. Thalios is recognized by the Holy Azerothian Church. Every December 14th, amid the celebrations of Winter Veil, the church, lead by Lord Grayson Shadowbreaker of the High Church of Stormwind, recognizes the efforts of Paladins Azeroth and Outlands round. A demonstration of might and spell usually opens the event with Paladins testing themselves against: Brother Sammuel, Brother Wilhelm, Azar Stronghammer, Brandur Ironhammer, Arthur the Faithful, Beldruk Doombrow & Katherine the Pure, according to their rank and training. Prizes and awards are given for the sport followed by prizes and awards for efforts in the field. After this a large feast is laid in Cathedral Square of Stormwind City where Paladins and Stormwind residents sit together. The children of the Stormwind orphanage are often placed high along the table in positions of honor as many of the Paladins who attend the festivities are patrons of the children and their matrons. Rumor has it that at this years festivities the children of the Shattrath City orphanage will also be attending. The event ends on a more solemn note with a procession up the cathedral stairs and to the alter. Each paladin carries a candle and a list of fallen brotheren, which is placed on the altar for the remainder of the day for all to remember their lost soldiers of the light.
