I am going to try and get online within the next day or two to put everything back where it belongs after being hacked, I would appreciate an invite back to ama ingame when I can get on.

Why do you need discs? I thought the game was pretty much entirely downloadable these days and all you needed was an active account to plug into the installed game.
I really don't want Arthas to be someone you "farm", honestly. He's such an important figure in the Warcraft mythology that he should be killed by like a world event or something.
There have been hints (maybe more than hints?) on the forums that you defeat Arthas but he doesn't "die" per se. Now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure somewhere Ghostcrawler posted straight up "he's too important to kill in a patch".

There is interest in Arthas. Icecrown Citadel looks like it may end up being a lot of fun... >_>
edit: Oh, Bela still plays some too though I haven't seen her around in awhile.
everyone should just get borderlands on xbox and come shoot people in the face with me. The loot even has the same rarity colors as WoW, so it'll be an easy transition : )
@ Fap: I'd play w/you if it didn't require buying an Xbox.
@ Trumbs : Lowbies are pretty fun now that you level super fast (especially with heirloom gear, chest+shoulders = 20% xp increase from both mobs and quests).
I think I am going to renew my account just so I can make a new character..I have been really, really, wanting to replay some lowbie stuff.
Maybe I will also play my higher characters (loool @ 24k gold given away to you folks) too :P

Yea heirloom gear is really great....plus it all looks like old school dungeon sets and other fun stuff like Mass of McGowan and Dal Rend's, oh and Finkle's Lava Dredger! <3

I idea of gearing up for Icecrown is daunting though, Ain only has Naxx 10 man shit. Who are you guys tagging along with? I noticed both Yori & Qyn via the armory have some good epics.

its going to be really easy for you nate dont worry about it...you will be able to buy ALL of the tier 9 pieces via the badges that will start dropping from every heroic dungeon and every 10/25man raid (they only drop from the highest end raid currently) once the new patch comes out...they specifically made it this way so that EVERYBODY gets to see icecrown and that its not a hassle to come back to the game and go through the gearing up phase...
each heroic is anywhere from 3-5 badges and the tier pieces go for 30, or 50 badges respectively...also the new 5 man dugeons that will come out with icecrown will drop gear that is on par with the current highest level of raid in the game...like i said they specifically designed all of these new dungeons and badge systems so that everyone can enjoy the new content without the hassle of going through the work of being in a raid guild for 3 months...kind of sucks for raiders but for the casual and the people who took a break its a fantastic thing and a way for them to enjoy just as much of the game as everyone else does
Acquiring epic gear is much, much easier these days. I have only been to 4 or 5 raids since I've been back (2-3 months) playing on a semi-regular basis and otherwise I've just been doing the heroic dailies on and off and running ToC (the new argent tournament 5 man).
You get emblems of triumph (the current highest quality badgers) from the daily heroic quest, and there are three sets of tier 9 to be had. The lowest end set (which Qyn is wearing two pieces of) can be had simply via purchase with emblems of triumph so you could, in theory, get full tier 9 simply from running the heroic daily every day for awhile. And the emblems of conquest (next step down) will get you tier 8 chest and helm (as usual).
And as Janet said, they're making it even easier to see Icecrown.
well.............................. rogues are currently the least played class on the server on alliance side...it goes paladin, dk, druid, hunter
nobody plays a rogue anymore...or warlock or mage...so if youre interested in doing something that is of high value...i'd say level daos...if you dont really care either way...play what you like...though gl finding a group if you play a paladin or dk...noone will invite you unless you tank or youre the only person on the lfg list and theyve exhausted all other means...
im not trying to dissuade you...speaking from experience here...i get 0 invites unless i offer to tank
Just tank on Ain, it's not like paladin tanking is challenging. Hell, it's not like tanking in general is challenging anymore. Shield slam crits for 15k? Check. Lol threat? Check. Ridiculous hp pools? Check.
It's still not as mindlessly easy as dpsing but it's certainly much less challenging than it used to be.
I think what I miss is not being busy! Still it'd be nice to find a quick little heroic group here or there. BUT then I remember what lame PUGs I usually wound up in. Not worth it.
Ben and Janet seem to find pugs all the time that are pretty decent (correct me if I'm wrong). Things are just easier nowadays. It's raining EPIX....or w/e..
Yeah this is true, stuff is super omgeasy. That instance I did with Josh..I was like "uh I don't have any marking shit set up" and he was like "LOLMARKINGLOLOL" and we proceeded to more or less zerg the place with 3 pugs.
Yea, marking stuff is a thing of the past...I sometimes put a skull up though, just for lols. Crowd control is definitely SO last expansion. I think that last time I saw a mage use polymorph was in Alterac Valley.
