i have to say im not all that excited about having to sit through horrible acting and mediocre dialog but i guess it wouldnt be star wars without it...the combat system looks siq as fuck tho...omfg force charge! and that cover system looks really neat...you know when swg was in beta i couldnt say enough good things about that game...and then they fucked it up...hopefully bioware is smarter than SOE >_>

i think it looks pretty fucking sweet, but i love all those bioware rpgs and their conversation trees. having dialog, using cover, and being in the sw universe, all while playing with other people, sounds good to me! i need to start selling pho on the street or something so that i can afford the computer components to run it when it comes out.

I am so excited. I may have to finally upgrade the computer. They are doing a demo at PAX, I think I'm actually willing to get in line for this one.

are they trying for a 2010 release?...does anybody know?

Yeah, Janet, the dialog, while I think it is neat..it seems like it is going to take up a lot of time. Especially when you go with a 2nd and 3rd character and you already know the quests. Though listening to that, I can tell Steven Blum (the guy who voices Spike Spiegel, Roger Smith, TOM from Toonami, and a bunch of other characters) is one of the voice actors doing it. He's the bounty hunter. I've always liked his work. Maybe it won't be *too* bad.

I really like what I have seen of the combat system. The cover thing looks awesome. If they make the jedi/sith anywhere near as cool as KOTOR it will be omgawesome.

As for a release date, I haven't even really heard rumors. I would think if they are going for a 2010 release, it'd probably be Q4.

I'm much of Fap's opinion - it wouldn't be a Bioware game without dialogue, but you can hopefully skip any sort of repetitive dialogue - I wouldn't want to have to sit through a 10 second audio clip every time I stop by a vendor.

It looks good. Hopefully they won't fuck it up.

Oh shit, this may mean it will come out around the same time as Starcraft II. That is lame, because this means I will have to convince Matthew to be playing Old Republic with me instead of SC II.

If you make the wrong choices the vendor will stop talking to you, FOREVER.
