#1: Twitter integration into WoW
http://www.offworld.com/2009/07/tweetcraft-world-of-warcrafts.html

* Upload in-game screenshots using TwitPic
* AutoTweet when you log in, enter an instance or get an achievement
* Extensible so that AddOn authors can register messages or events to AutoTweet

Now I can be logged in to two obsessions at once and never miss a beat. Imagine all my friends knowing when I enter Stockades to level new weapon skills, or when I've finally collected 25 mounts! They would never get the tweet saying I've logged in since I'll never log out with Tweetcraft available.

This could actually be hellishly useful for people who want to run dungeons and stuff with friends, but don't want to be logged in and waiting for people to show up. You could make an Amatweet, which everyone can tweet to, and have a running display of what guildies are up to.

In fact, this is the first good use for Twitter that I have seen.

Businesses and politicians use Twitter and apparently find benefit in it. That makes sense. Personal stuff...not too sure.
