So I've been listening to Classic game music and I'm not sure which games are at 2:26 and 5:04. If you know this games give me a heads up. The music seems quite interesting.

Tue, 06/09/2009 - 5:38amOk I've already worked out 5:04 is Ghosts'n'Goblins from the NES era. Too bad I can't find an Orchestrated version quite like the one posted zzz.

Tue, 06/09/2009 - 6:35amAlso, did anyone ever play the duck in duck hunt? I figured it out while my friend was trying for a good score and realized you could alter the angle the bird flies at using the 2p controller.
huh. @ 5:54ish is that an old school Gauntlet?

Tue, 06/09/2009 - 8:42amyou guys would like this. this is my buddy from austin that i grew up with, who now has made the transition from doing regular electronic music to doing 8-bit video game music. he's played shows at game conventions and stuff, and also worked on the sound for the Wii metroid fps's (at least the first one; not sure about the others). i personally think "this battle makes my blood boil" is the better album.
oh, and the buttons work even if your cursor tells you they wont.

Tue, 06/09/2009 - 1:16pmI compared the music in that from 2:26 and the 8-bit version from Frogger and it sounds a lot alike. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okm0VtF2gH8
5:04 doesn't look familiar to me so it is probably not a game I ever played.
I <3 8-bit music.
