Aren't you jealous now? Apparently if this is the same video that I watched, it's streaming the screen from another computer, and hooking in the controls. I think if they made a chat-only client, that would be cool. Just log in and talk to your guildies and whisper people online sort of thing.
It would be nice to be able to check auctions and whatever but it doesn't really seem super playable (except maybe for Josh who is used to getting 5fps) so...no, not really jealous. I really dislike touchscreens (iPhone, Blackberry Storm, whatever). I'll stick with my Bold for now.
I agree about the chat only thing that would definitely be cool and it would also not be limited to 3D capable devices.
I think they just jerryrigged an iPhone to control an actual real desktop computer running WoW, and are streaming the graphics after they've been drawn to the iPhone to display. Sort of like a remote desktop app, that just happens to be a bit more aware of WoW's auction house window.
