I was sorta tempted to get this...until I saw the price
Looks like it has customizable colors too (green and purple! Or would it be purple and green?)

Tue, 03/10/2009 - 3:01pmI uh, have the G9-laser-gaming-weighted-lol-expensive-retarded-consumer mouse. I think it's almost that pricey.
And it's having issues after 6 months just like every mouse I've ever owned.
I should find a good, cheap mouse and just buy them in bulk.

Tue, 03/10/2009 - 4:02pmYou can get a three button optical mouse for like 5 bucks now, right?

Tue, 03/10/2009 - 4:03pmYeah, I've always used like the stock computer mice that come free with shit, and I've never had issues until years of use. Maybe you should ease up on that grip of iron, Chris.

Tue, 03/10/2009 - 6:14pmor maybe it was just a bad idea for them to put the "slam button" into chris' mice
Also that thumb button is pretty insane--well prolly not too hard in practice, but still...

Tue, 03/10/2009 - 7:19pmI'm using a neat little ambidextrous 3-button that says "Microsoft" on it. I've had it for over a year, and it's still functioning well as new, including the scrolling. Looks good, pwns at gaming, and cost me almost nothing (well, literally nothing, as my parents paid for it, but y'know).

Tue, 03/10/2009 - 7:22pmHmm..I wouldn't actually mind the lights they have on this mouse--but the only time those lights would be nice is if one is staring at the mouse--and when's that gonna happen? ;)

Wed, 03/11/2009 - 6:22amHere's what I'm using, only I've made my LEDs green instead of red. You can edit the color via RGB settings, which is <3. You can also adjust the weight of the mouse via those little square bits of metal and adjust the DPI. And everything is saved onboard the mouse so that you don't have to run bloated software to remember your settings.
The only problem is that I sometimes have issues with tracking and the index finger button is overly sensitive and sometimes clicks things twice in one press.

Thu, 03/12/2009 - 9:59amI still use a trackball and love it to death. The precision you get with a trackball far exceeds that of a mouse.

Mon, 03/23/2009 - 7:51amI don't know that I'd ever get used to a trackball, Brian. I used one for a while with an auxiliary computer of mine, but fiddling with it didn't convince me to convert from mice. I might try one again, I like that they don't use as much space as a mouse and can be more accurate. My wacom pad is damn accurate, though, and me el-cheapo MS optical mouse is more than adequate for gaming.

Mon, 03/23/2009 - 11:00amI've used trackballs before and I'd have to agree with Faz, I'm not sure I could get used to one for gaming.
