Eh, what I've concluded w/ the whole mind(and heart) vs. brain would that the brain is the physical receptor of the mind/heart and would act accordingly (usually). Otherwise the idea of the mind will be completely destroyed once(if) they fully map the brain and would then be able to analyze and calculate what a person would do in any given situation---and something like that seems kinda far fetched (although it'd probably be more like a "Brain-A is most likely to flee in this instance, and slightly less likely to manipulate the aggressor in order to stay safe)

So hopefully they won't discover the brain is the end-all for an individual's hopes, dreams, fears, and personality etc--and that there is more to being humans than the fleshy sack. (maybe be able to actually empirically find a "spirit world" or energy of sorts)
