"For middle aged and older people at least, using the internet helps boost brain power, research suggests."
Don't think most of us qualify for this....since I don't think we have 40 yr olds here (yet!)
Mmm, learning new things when older. I think I had read some research years ago that line-memorizing in acting helped with overall memory function in people over 60.
Besides, everyone knows that Amaranthian is here to improve debate skills. We're all master debators.

unless debating w/ roommate who uses the /ignorant trump card...can't really debate w/ such positions (generally b/c they are self-defeating, and self-sustaining)
Also, there is something wrong with the world when 27 feels old. I blame the lazer gaze of the advertising industry, which has become the major means of self-identification in this country:
"What? They're not advertizing the same stuff to me? I'm old, I'm old, I'm old! Ahhhhhhh!"
Then when you hit anything older... ouch.
The gamer solution: I say we 40-man all the ad firms. Take down each advertizing boss and see what kewl loots they drop.

Tue, 10/14/2008 - 1:21pmYeah, but I'm kind of assuming that 16 year olds brains don't reverse everything entirely.
