CAUTION DERAILMENT! HOLD ON TIGHT!
Hmm, I heard something about him possibly working on the next Batman movie? (which has David Tennant in it!!!!!!!!!!!! as Riddler)
Graveyard Book won this year's Hugo for best novel. It beat out Anathem, which I still need to read, though it'll have to go on the pile. I'm currently reading Stephenson's Cryptonomicon, which is so dense that I had trouble getting into it a few years ago but I decided to have another go a few weeks back and I'm glad I did, I'm really enjoying it.

anathem is still one of my favorite novels now. i need to read the graveyard book after i'm finished with the beast that shouted love at the heart of the world, which is the short story collection by harlan ellison in which a boy and his dog appeared. i just finished the road by cormack mccarthy . . . i have to recommend it because it was so amazingly good, but i found it to be so brutally hopeless a story that i feel bad having other people have to go through that.
