So i somehow made the left shift button "stick" and whenever i press it it makes a noise
how do i access the sticky button panel and KILL it?

Control Panel -> Accessibility Options -> uncheck "Use Sticky Keys"

the stick keys were unchecked..maybe the random clicking i did on the minibar icon of it turned them off (or when i shut off the comp it didn't save sticky keys
but thnx, i found the box and it was already unchecked

also if you press shift five times on most computers it will bring up the sticky keys promt

Same thing with holding shift down for like 8 seconds or something like that.

I somehow managed to entirely remove the part of Windows responsible for Sticky Keys, which means I can't turn it off. I turned the holding shift thing off before I did that, though, so that's permanently off. Woo?!
