Reading up on stuff for my nubbin warrior, should I ever choose to level him. I wanted to know what our warriors thought about this article ( http://evilempireguild.org/guides/after490.php ). Chris and Z were chatting about it in game today also so I wanted to see how acurate you guys thought it was.

Since I haven't tanked any of the content where he claims it makes a difference, I can't really comment.

I have found that stacking stam has made a huge difference for me, when I compare tanking a fight like Attumen or MoV.

Evil Empire has always had good articles, I agree with most of the stuff he says here. Since starting Kara I've increased my max unbuffed HP by about 1800 (while my defense has only fluctuated plus or minus 5 points) and it's definitely made a noticable difference in my survivability. It seems pretty straightforward to me. More health = more breathing room for healers as long as you aren't completely gimping your mitigation stats.

Healing is way different in TBC than it was in MC and the like. Damage comes in much bigger chunks so it's pretty hard to heal sometimes, very spiky. So yeah, the name of the game does seem to be more HP and more armor to smooth out the random large damage spikes that healers cannot anticipate. Also, working on block value seems to also be a good thing to do, since that's pure mitigation that helps smooth out damage as well. This is the reason why druid tanks are really good for huge damage, they can take three hits where a plate class would only take two.
