Wed, 08/13/2008 - 2:51amI have time warner and in the summer I have connection problems, that are usually fixed by having them come install a new cable line to the house. I have no idea why but it's been that way each summer I've wowed. FIOS won't give you 911 access if your power goes out or if the system fails. I had some gaming friends on Fios who were with out connection for over 2wks, that's computer and phone, because some thing broke.

Sun, 08/31/2008 - 4:32pmI actually have time warner cable at home and it's very reliable, much more than when I had Verizon in Sarasota, but I think it varies by municipality. I never want to deal with verizon's customer service again ever, though.
