I've got Qyn, who is a lvl 13 elf champion (surprise). Ayris is a human hunter. Kraid is a dward guardian and two others (since you can only have 5 characters per server, lame!) who I made and got to like level 2.
My 10 day trial runs out today and I'm unsure if I'll be purchasing the game or not.
And yea the default dancing is pretty unexciting. If you /dance2 and /dance3 you get better dances but they all revert to standing and clapping when the animation is through. Also Hobbitjiggle = wrong.
Yeah, the champion is totally an arms warrior. My captan is hilarious . . . well, it's more my herald which is hilarious. I love that you have a pet human that runs after you carrying your flag all the time. I named him Meat. I think the game is alright, and I'm having fun with it, I just wish they had done a few things better. Just seeing the world is worth it for me though. It's really beautifully designed. Also, the water looks like freakin' water! I was amazed!
the water kills my machine :(...the game is fun but abit buggy...i think the ui is pretty unimaginative...almost like a straight copy of blizz's ui...which makes it a solid ui however half the fun of playing a new mmo is learning a new ui /cry
I haven't really found any bugginess yet I don't think. I don't like the way death is handled. Like, if you die you go back to the graveyard instead of having the option to find your body. That's totally lame because sometimes you run FOREVER to get somewhere then die when you get there and end up right back in town. I do agree that the UI is pretty much the same, though I don't know how they could have changed it without losing functionality.
The game is amazing looking with all of the graphics jacked up. Though I think I still prefer WoW's stylized look. It feels more finished to me. I also really hate how cloaks look in LOTRO. Everyone is a friggen hunchback. I just have to hide mine. :x
And yea the Captains are hilarious. The first time I saw one I was like "hey that guy has a flag....oh.....FLAGBOY!"
